Description
He ended up about 7 inches tall.
A bit rough...
First lid I have had that warped some. It is fairly intricately keyed so it was already a gamble. After the warping (due to the added mohawk I believe) I had to do a little dremel work to get the lid off (it was moving but wouldn't fully remove). The dremeling isn't very noticeable and the lid is still a slight bit tricky to remove.
Got a crack in the bottom along the wall that does go through the bottom but it's not too bad.
The harsh studio lighting doesn't do it justice either...
Overall pretty happy with it.
Red Stoneware, burnt umber stain, porcelain slip, orbide glaze.

That looks super awesome with the differences in glazes in the front and back. I was wondering about those lids. They look awesome, but I imagine they are quite tricky to keep from warping.
